I use a silicone …
I use a silicone mat and it’s great, I hardly ever have problems with sticking, and if so, the lightest dusting of powdered sugar is enough to solve the problem.

Mayheart asked about the BOARD…not what she put on the rolling pin. Yes she did put shortening on her rolling pin, but that was not the question. I do not know the answer to the original question, but her board does have some kind of clear cover sheet attached. I think she uses it in another video. I will look at let you know if I find that video.

would you tell me what kind of board do you use??? is it a none stick pad??? i put a bit of cornstarch to my board and dont like the outcome of it… cornstarch makes the colored petals looks bad… =(
